Beyond her legal practice, Brittany enjoys spending time in her garden, at interior design shows, or in Napa with her husband. She and her husband have three cats that live like kings. Her dedication to advocacy extends beyond the courtroom, reflecting a commitment to making a positive impact in their community.
Prior to her tenure in family law, Brittany dedicated many years to ensuring that incarcerated individuals have access to education by teaching classes in across the several of the state’s jails and prisons, in addition to working with the Ninth Circuit’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and researched the best ways to implement conflict resolution programs in California prisons. In 2013, Brittany developed curriculum for the first ever college-level human rights course for inmates at California Rehabilitation Center in Norco, CA, and assisted in planning the first ever Prison Litigation Conference, which was held in November 2015.
